Join baritone Chris Sarkis and pianist Henry Danaher in a recital spanning nearly 400 years of song repertoire. From Monteverdi to Vaughan Williams, and Beethoven to Bonds, hear music from early Italian opera, to the yearning Romanticism of Schumann, to 20th-century folk-song and spiritual arrangements.

Admittance by donation, all proceeds to go towards the Woodsville High School Track and Field team.

Chris Sarkis is a Haverhill resident and a proud member of the Woodsville High School Class of 2016. This spring, he finished his second year of study at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, New York. Chris majors in music education, and is fortunate to study with the esteemed voice and piano faculty at Crane. He has appeared twice with the Crane Opera Ensemble, and is set to cover the lead role of a world premiere opera by Tom Cipullo this November. Chris feels a strong sense of gratitude to the community here in Haverhill, and is excited to share his music with the you!

Henry Danaher is the Choir Director and Organist at First Congregational Church in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and the Choral Accompanist at Hanover High School. He collaborates with many local performing arts organizations, assisting with rehearsals, masterclasses, recordings, auditions, choral music and recitals; he performs year-round for weddings, religious services, parties, fundraisers and concerts. While not working as a musician, Henry enjoys studying foreign languages. He lives in Lebanon, NH with his son Finn
