Legendary performer Betty Johnson Gray, her acclaimed daughter Lydia Gray, and master fiddler Patrick Ross, take the stage to benefit Help Kids India, a Vermont-based nonprofit that supports three preschools for children living in poverty in South India. Gray started her long musical career as a young girl with her family’s gospel ensemble, the Johnson Family Singers. She launched her adult solo career in the 1950s, shooting to fame with numerous hits. Ms. Gray has appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show, Jack Paar’s Tonight Show and has performed at the Grand Old Opry. Lydia Gray has performed across the United States including New York City’s famed Algonquin Oak Room and Cafe Pierre, and was nominated for the MAC award. Also joining them on stage is Ed Eastridge, classical and jazz guitarist, as well as award winning producer.
